ARTISTS (PERFORMANCE AND LIVE ARTS): MURDERED WORD
An opera of simultaneous actions. A hyper-environment of party art and weirdness. A living sculpture of randomness. A bunch of things. A circus-like night of nonsense. Sculptural chaos. It’s an art party, a celebration of Do What Thou Wilt, a promotion of
a philosophy of conscientious hedonism.
1: You can do anything you want (unless I say otherwise)
2: Roving or durational or performance installation stuff will work
great. If you would rather do a staged time based thing, I will
schedule you to go on at a specific time.
3: Let me know if your performance will require electricity. I can’t
provide much more than an area and an outlet, so bring your own tables
4: Be cautious of things delicate in material or sound in case other
things bump into it or things are too noisy. Although if you want to
do something quiet, we can find a quiet corner for you.
5: If you need a little more structure than “do anything”, I will be
happy to give you a open-to-interpretation score for you.
6: Do not do anything that will fuck up the freedom of someone else to
7: There is no theme.
Submission Deadline: November 20, Submit an idea of what you’d like to do plus any technical needs to Ric Royer (ricroyer [at] gmail [dot] com).
Show Date: December 5th, 9PM – 4AM
