Rachel Dwiggins
Rachel edits television by day, and makes films and music by night. She lives in an old creaky house with a variety of mammals. One day, she hopes to own the biggest moonbounce in the world.

 

COSTUME DESIGNER
Kendra Hebel
Kendra is an artist and designer originally from New Jersey and upstate New York. She received her undergraduate degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art as a Fiber Major in 2008.

A main objective of Kendra’s work is to examine aesthetics in media, clothing, and architecture as interfaces that influence our minds and bodies. Her artistic practice takes many forms, primarily sculpture, costume and textile design.

SET DESIGNER
Andrea Crews
Andrea is the scenic designer for Condo Condo Condoland, is joining us at the EMP Collective for the first time. As a recent graduate of Towson University’s Theatre Design program Andrea has designed and painted at Carver Center for the Art and Technology, Towson, and Morgan State University on shows such as Jekyll and Hyde, Big Love, Into the Woods, Rent, Aida, For Colored Girls, The Color Purple,  etc. She currently is volunteering at Arena Players as a scenic designer/charge artist currently designing for East Texas Hotlinks. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland Andrea began experiencing the theatre community from a young age and has been hooked ever since. She has been working in the theatre since 2003 and has designed and worked in all aspects of it from lighting to costumes. In addition, Andrea works in the Baltimore and DC area as a freelance photographer and is looking to continue her education at MICA for their post baccalaureate graphic design program.

 

MAKEUP CONSULTANT
Samantha Trionfo
Having assisted with makeup for previous shows including A Brief Narrative of an Extraordinary Birth of Rabbits performed at EMP Collective, Glass Mind Theatre’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, BROS Murdercastle (along with costume design) and various shows at CCBC Essex, Samantha’s excited to be working at EMP once more.

 

CHOREOGRAPHER
Sarah Anne Austin
Sarah Anne Austin lives, works, and dances in Baltimore.

 

DRAMATURG
Elissa Goetschius
Elissa Goetschius is a multidisciplinary artist with a strong focus on theatre and performance-based interactive installations. She recently directed A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM with Glass Mind Theatre, and A BRIEF NARRATIVE OF AN EXTRAORDINARY BIRTH OF RABBITS and NIGHT SWEATS with the EMP Collective. Prior to that, she developed and directed REFLECTIONS with Andy Wassenich, a tour of short plays written by patients at St. Elizabeths Hospital, produced by Wandering Souls, and co-directed AMAZONS AND THEIR MEN with Michael Dove at Forum Theatre. Her ongoing collaboration with playwright Liz Maestri includes development of the plays SOMERSAULTING, TINDERBOX, FALLBEIL, CONDO CONDO CONDOLAND, and HOUSE BEAUTIFUL. www.egoetschius.com twitter: @egoetschius

 

SOUND DESIGN
Todd Mion
Todd is a sound designer. Recent sound designs include Slipping and Swimming in the Shallows with The Iron Crow Theatre Company; The Exonerated, The Trial of the Catonsville Nine, and The Bind of Isaac with Spotlight UB; and Antigone, Julius Caesar, and Macbeth for the Baltimore Shakespeare Festival. Todd is currently the Production Manager for the Dance Department at Goucher College.

 

LIGHTING DESIGN
Brad Leroy Cartwright
Brad Leroy Cartwright is a writer, musician, and filmmaker living in Baltimore. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts from the University of Baltimore and is a co-founder of EMP Collective.
