Lifetime Subscription by Sara Moore

We are hot off the heels from opening collage artist Sara Barnes’s Foundation (exhibiting Wednesday through Friday, 12-6PM at EMP until March 2) but are gosh darn plumb tickled to announce yet another brand new exhibition at EMP (and another Sara!) coming this March– Sara Moore’s Lifetime Subscription.

Sara Moore is a sculpture and installation artist. Her work is made mostly from found materials that are in direct dialogue with her often socio-political and communities-oriented subject matter. Miss Moore previously exhibited with us during (…and you’re just not good enough.) in Washington, D.C.

As always, we want you to view new art, meet new people, get out, and get inspired so we’re hosting our monthly opening party at EMP for Lifetime Subscription this Friday, March 9. Come one, come all!

Opening Party at EMP: Friday, March 9, 8-11pm
Lifetime Subscription  Runs: March 9 – April 6
Gallery Hours: Wed – Fri, 12PM – 6PM

Sara Moore is local artist of our fair Baltimore. She received her B.F.A. in General Sculptural Studies from The Maryland Institute College of Art in Spring 2008. She creates installations based on the outcomes of political and social turmoil, as well as loss.  Her interest in the collective community has led her to take part in numerous community art projects in Baltimore as well as Ticuantepe and Siuna, Nicaragua. Her work has been exhibited at the Korean National University of Arts in Seoul Korea, in Baltimore, Maryland, and in Washington, D.C.
