FREE FALL WRITING WORKSHOP
EMP Collective’s Cans n Drafts series will begin its first free creative writing workshop on October 25 at EMP. Workshop meetings will be held on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm and will culminate in a reading of works developed on Friday, December 2 at 7pm. Fiction, poetry, essays, screenplays–it’s all fair game! We just want you to write.

ABOUT THE MODERATORS
Brad Cartwright – from Cando, ND, eats a lot of BBQ, filmmaker, musician, and MFA candidate in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts at University of Baltimore. Fights AIDS in his spare time.
Steve Mandes - an adjunct professor of English at Howard Community College and a recent grad of UB’s MFA program in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts. He writes poetry and text messages and hopes to one day to have his very own bat cave with hard wood floors and big windows.
